Membership Categories Information & Pricing 2019 – 2020

Membership at Chatswood Golf Club is divided into a number of different categories to suit your lifestyle and budget.

Financial Year – 1 October 2019 to 30 September 2020

Club Membership

Club Membership entitles category subscribers to the following:

• Open to male and female applicants over the age of 18 years;
• Golflink membership, Golf NSW affiliation, Golf Australia handicap and golfers insurance;
• Use of a House Account into which the member may deposit discounted credit for the payment of club expenses (such as green fees, equipment, bar costs, etc.);
• Full access to all members’ areas of the clubhouse (locker rooms, bars, pro shop, etc.);
• Access to all parts of the course for social or practice play on any day of the week  with a $10 discount on green fees;
• Participation in regular competition golf on any day of the week, except as restricted by gender ($38 comp fee);
• Entitled to participate in all open trophy events.

Bronze Membership

Bronze Membership entitles category subscribers to all the entitlements of Club Membership, plus the following changes or additions:

• Right to invite visitors to play at Chatswood GC;
• Access online for booking of competition timesheets for self, partners and visitors, within 1 week of play, for 24 games per year;
• Entitled to participate in all mixed Honour Board and Trophy events, as determined by the Board from time to time;
• Reduced competition fees ($23) for 24 games per year and $10 green fees;
• Eight (8) visitor passes per annum, where visitors can play in open competitions for member’s competition fee.

Silver Membership

Silver Membership entitles category subscribers to all the entitlements of Bronze Membership, plus the following changes or additions:

• Reduced competition fees Sunday to Friday ($15), slightly reduced competition fees for Saturday ($23), and free social play Sunday to Friday;
• Access online for booking of time sheets for self, partners and visitors, within 2 weeks of play;
• Entitled to be selected for participation in Representative Golf (Pennants):
• Entitled to participate in all except Saturday Honour Board and Saturday Member’s Trophy events, as determined by the Board from time to time;
• Ten (10) visitor passes per annum, where your visitors can play in open competitions for member’s competition fees.

Gold Membership

Gold Membership entitles category subscribers to all the entitlements of Silver Membership, plus the following changes or additions:

• Reduced competition fees ($15) any day, and free social play, any day.
• Entitled to participate in all Honour Board and Trophy events;
• Fourteen (14) visitor passes per annum, where your visitor can play in open competitions for member’s competition fees.

Under 35

• Open to male and female applicants under the age of 35 years;
• Receive the same playing rights as Gold Membership;
• No charge for social (non-competition) play;
• $15 competition fees;
• NSWGA Affiliation fees and insurance included.

Student, Junior & Sub Junior Membership

• Junior Membership open to male and female applicants 8- 17 years;
• Student Membership open to male and female applicants 18-25 years (must provide proof of student status via student card);
• An official GA Handicap (sub junior no handicap);
• Participation in regular competition golf on any day of the week, except as restricted by gender (or sub-junior category);
• No charge for social (non-competition) play;
• $10 competition fee (for juniors U/18);
• Sunday Junior clinics held regularly;
• NSWGA Affiliation fees and insurance included.

Social Member

• Any person who has attained the age of 18 years;
• $30 House account included for spend within the clubhouse (including pro shop);
• Social members shall be entitled to enjoy the full use of the clubhouse but shall not be entitled to take part in any competition game played on the course;
• Can play as a public player and receive a $5 discount off full price green fees. Discount not applicable for green fee special days/twilight rates.

Important Membership Information:

Most membership fees are pro rated to 30th September 2020;
Playing membership comes with an official handicap which is obtained after submitting 3 or more scorecards;
With the exception of non-playing and sub junior membership, all fees stated above are inclusive of $66.55 for Golf NSW affiliation and golf insurance;
House accounts stated in the table above are payable upfront and are inclusive of total membership fees for applicable categories;
Membership can be paid directly to the Club in one go or in monthly instalments via direct debit from your account or credit card (enquire at the office);
Handicaps are capped at a maximum of 36 for men and 45 for women.
